Stonebridge launches life and protection panel

Stonebridge Group has introduced a life and protection panel to run alongside its existing whole of market offering.
The panel will offer products from Aviva, Bright Grey, Friends Provident, PruProtect and LV=.
Stonebridge says the new panel offers higher commission levels in return for a commitment to work solely with the selected five providers.
Richard Adams, managing director at Stonebridge, says: “Having conducted research and listened to our appointed representative firms it was apparent that many were interested in securing greater income from working with a protection panel.
“In addition to increased commissions, many ARs felt that working closely with five market-leading insurers gave them more in-depth product knowledge and sales development focus to help increase protection sales.”
He says that it is up to ARs to choose whether they wish to use the existing whole of market offering or the new panel according to which best suits their business model.
