Pilot system launches to help brokers with TCF
The system includes Competent Adviser’s existing Treating Customers Fairly toolbox, as well as FinQS’ TCF Centre.
The merged systems include TCF training programmes and online customer feedback questionnaires to ensure firms are meeting their TCF objectives.
Testing will initially be carried through an individual firm before the system is fully rolled out.
Places are available for firms interested in testing the system as part of the pilot project.
Gillian Tait, director at Competent Adviser, says: “After discussions with our clients it became apparent that there was a clear need for additional guidance and assistance relating to obtaining and analysing client feedback.
“This joint venture with FinQS will provide clients with the ability to demonstrate sufficient understanding to fully comply with the regulator’s TCF requirements.”
Sim Sangha, director at FinQS, says: “The FSA has made it increasingly evident that TCF will form an important part of any visit.
“We are confident that the combination of both our products under one umbrella will be of great benefit to firms’ TCF processes.”
