HML appoints permanent CEO
HML has appointed Andrew Jones as its permanent chief executive officer after doing the job on an interim basis for three months.
Jones filled the breach last year after the sudden double departure of CEO Brian Brodie and Neil Warman, chief commercial and finance officer in October.
Jones says: “The last three months have given me the chance to talk to our clients and find out what they need from us to develop their businesses over the coming years.
Mark Fleet, chairman of HML and Skipton Building Society chief distribution officer says Jones has done a good job in the last few months.
He says: “He is the right person to drive the business forward. The experience he has gained working across HML, and also building relationships across the Group, leaves him extremely well placed to lead the organisation to achieve its true potential.”
