Training programme for rent-back firms

Compliancy Services is running a training programme to help sale-and-rent-back firms applying for authorisation from the Financial Services Authority.

The compliance firm has developed an approved persons training programme specifically for individuals at rent-back firms who haven’t been through the FSA’s senior management interview process before.

Claire Wilkinson, retail director at Compliancy Services, says: “It is important for firms to remember that the approved persons regime applies to full authorisation and senior management can expect to be interviewed by the FSA to establish that they are fit and competent to undertake the role of an approved person.

“This can be a somewhat daunting experience which is why we have developed this training programme which will also include a stringent mock interview process.”

Firms wanting to offer rent-back have until June 30 2010 to apply to the FSA for full authorisation.
