HML appoints new head of finance

HML has appointed Martin Brook as its new head of finance.

Brook will be based in the firm’s Skipton head office and will report to Neil Warman, chief commercial and finance officer.
 
In his new role, he will be responsible for the management of the finance function, covering all aspects of financial and management accounting and assist in commercial decision making & project evaluation. He will oversee the management and the day to day operation of the financial accounts department.
 
With in excess of 15 years’ experience in the financial service sector, Brook joins HML from Aviva, where his role was senior finance manager. He has built up a wealth of experience including building business cases and carrying out in-depth value based analysis with strong business partnering to support corporate decision-making. He has also previously worked at Abbey.
 
Neil Warman, HML chief commercial and finance officer, says: “We are pleased to welcome Martin to HML’s senior team, where we feel his experience and expertise working within commercially focused team will be a great fit with our organisation. His background in the financial service sector is also strong and makes me certain that he will be right for his new role.”
