Checkmate offers its processing system to lenders

Checkmate Mortgages is planning to roll out its online mortgage processing system to mortgage lenders in a bid to help them speed up service.
It plans to make its system available to lenders that may be experiencing difficulty with servicing an influx in applications.
Stephen Knight, executive chairman of Checkmate, has held discussions with several lenders about adoptingthe system.
In his blog on Checkmate’s website Knight says that some lenders’ systems can take up to 25 days to say yes to an application whereas Checkmate’s can do this in 25 minutes.
