Nationwide appoints Connells Asset Management
Connells Asset Management has been appointed as Nationwide’s first panel manager for estate agency sales.
The contract, effective immediately, takes the partnership between Connells and Nationwide into its 20th year.
Nationwide currently writes one in 10 mortgages sold in the UK and is hoping to eventually compete on the same scale as the retail banks.
Roland McCormack, managing director of Connells Asset Management, says: “Nationwide remains at the forefront of the market and we are delighted to have been appointed in this critical business area.
“We relish the prospect of adding value to the society’s customer service proposition in this new economic era.”
Andy McQueen, divisional director of mortgages and general insurance at Nationwide, says: “Choosing the right suppliers in this key area of our business is more important now than ever.
“Connells’ credentials for delivering first class service and their ability to tailor their systems to meet the society’s changing needs is testament to their success.”
