Previous marathon experience: My running experience isnt vast although I did complete a three-mile fun run 13 years ago.
Marathon personal best time: N/A.
Expected berlin marathon Time: Between 5:30 and 6:00, but Ill be happy as long as I make the finish line.
Dietary changes: The only sacrifice Ive made is to stop eating crisps.
Target fundraising amount: 1,500.
Why am i doing this? I think everybody knows someone affected by cancer and Ive seen three close friends suffer with the disease in the past few years. Macmillan nurses offer support to people when they really need it and do a wonderful job. If putting myself through a bit of pain helps those who have no choice, it gives me some satisfaction. Of course, theres also the sense of achievement that comes with taking on a challenge.
Who would i most like to run behind? My choice would be Kylie but I dont expect to be able to keep up with a snail after about 10 miles.

Previous marathon experience: New York Marathon.
Marathon personal best time: 4:15.
Expected berlin marathon Time: Hopefully around 5:30.
Dietary changes: As a natural athlete theres little I need to change but Im considering cutting out red wine. My typical marathon meal is a mixed grill with a fried egg on top.
Target fundraising amount: As much as possible.
Why am i doing this? Even after my New York triumph this will be a big challenge for me, but nothing compared with the challenges that many people experience in life through no fault of their own. Im a great believer in supporting people by trying to put their needs before mine so I hope to raise funds that can make someones life a bit easier, bring them some comfort and maybe put a smile on their face. Any financial support for me or any of the team would be gratefully received.
Who would i most like to run behind? Anybody but Didier Drogba in case he falls over and gets in my way.
