While the great and the good of the industry headed to the Expo last week one head of a major lender almost didn’t make it.
The gentleman in question got a little confused with the change of venue this year and made his way to Earls Court, the setting for last year’s event. On arriving at the venue he was puzzled to find no industry colleagues and instead an exhibition for lovers of all things canine.
“I asked where all the mortgage people and exhibitors were but was told I was barking up the wrong tree,” the bewildered boss told Mole.
