Spicerhaart sees 35% rise in mortgage volumes

Spicerhaart Financial Services experienced a 35% increase in the number of mortgages processed in 2010, compared to the previous year.

The firm also took on 25 more consultants last year as part of a planned expansion of activities.

Spicerhaart managing director David Miles revealed the figures at the company’s annual conference and awards ceremony, at which he also announced a number of new projects for 2011.

These include the launch of an apprenticeship scheme, investment in training and development, in-house mortgage processing, exclusive mortgage deals and further integration with other parts of the Spicerhaart group.

Miles says: “While other people were sitting on the fence, we invested in our business. Although lenders kept moving the goalposts, we focused on great people doing a great job. All the hard work paid off, delivering a record-breaking profit.”
