NACFB to hold Commercial Expo
The National Association of Commercial Finance Brokers is to hold its first Commercial Finance Expo at the NEC on the June 30.
The NACFB which usually attends the Mortgage Business Expo will also incorporate its annual conference into the event, which will take place in the seminar theatre on the day.
Adam Tyler, chief executive at the NACFB, says: “There are different events which cover some aspects of the commercial finance industry, but none which get representatives from Asset Finance, Commercial Mortgages, Buy to Let, Vehicle Finance and Factoring all under one roof. This is an ideal opportunity for commercial brokers to get to meet with lenders and funders who are active in the market and looking to work with brokers.”
He adds: “We’re hoping those with underwriters present will be available to discuss individual cases. I am especially delighted that only two weeks after we launched to our Patrons, we have 27 exhibitors signed up to attend. We will attract delegates from across all sectors of commercial finance and the day is open to anyone working or aspiring to work within the commercial finance industry.”
“The negative headlines have outweighed the good for some time now and with the market having been so tough for the last couple of years, this is really something which we hope will help to kick start confidence and instill more of a feel good factor than we’ve had of late.”

As commercial finance brokers we have always been confined to a quiet corner of the office in the shadow of the residential mortgage industry. Its great to see the Commercal Expo's launch. Considering the wide range of solutions and specialisms in Commercial, it will be interesting to see it all under one roof!
