NACFB appoints new chairman

The National Association of Commercial Finance Brokers has appointed Kevin Jones of Omega Commercial Solutions as its new Chairman for 2011 and 2012.

Jones has been a director of the association since 2005 and was deputy chairman from 2009.

Following an election of directors at its AGM at the Birmingham Metropole back in November, Jones was appointed as Chairman at the first NACFB Board meeting of the New Year held last week.

He says: “Having been involved with the NACFB since its inception and the last five years as a main board member, I am delighted to have been voted into the chair for the next two years. A great deal of progress has been made by the Association over the past few years and my aim whilst chairman is to ensure the momentum continues and the NACFB ensures the high profile it has enjoyed over the past couple of years is maintained.

“Our main focus this year includes training and education, member benefits and increasing the membership and patronage. I am pleased to be able to continue to work with Adam Tyler and his team in Exeter as well as what I would describe as very strong board of directors. With this in mind I feel very confident that these objectives will be achieved.”
