MBE 2011: Bridging demand outstripping supply

The demand for bridging is continuing to outstrip supply, according to Laurence Goodman, managing director at Bridgebank Capital.
Speaking at the Mortgage Business Expo today, he says this is the case despite the large number of lenders that have entered the bridging market in the last few years, which he welcomed as good for competition.
Goodman says: “Demand for bridging lending has always outstripped the availability of capital and that remains the case even now.”
