CHL retains top honour in Best Companies Accreditation
CHL Mortgages has received the Three Star Status Award in the Best Companies Accreditation for 2011, in recognition of being one of the best organisations to work for.

The specialist lender was one of only 84 firms that achieved the top honour after being deemed to have achieved an ‘extraordinary performance’, while it is one of 16 organisations to hold onto its status from 2010.
Best Companies is the name behind the Sunday Times 100 Best Companies to Work For lists and established the accreditation award scheme to acknowledge excellence in the workplace.
It uses staff feedback to assess employee engagement and awards companies one star for first class, two for outstanding and three for extraordinary performance.
Bob Young, managing director of CHL Mortgages, says: “To once again achieve the coveted Three Star Status in the Best Companies Accreditation is a fantastic achievement and is proof positive that we take the needs of our employees and the environment they work within very seriously.”
He says it is particularly pleasing to have held the status for two years and attributes this accomplishment to the focus and dedication of CHL’s staff, noting the management team would like to thank all its employees for their performance.
“CHL continues to develop its staff and help them achieve their workplace and training ambitions, whilst making sure we reward strong performance.”
Jonathan Austin, founder and chief executive officer of Best Companies, says: “I would like to congratulate CHL Mortgages on its outstanding achievement. This year it is encouraging to see that more and more organisations are recognising the value of employee engagement and are willing to benchmark themselves against the best to ensure they are offering their employees the best possible experience.
“Organisations like CHL have continued to focus on their employees and have been rewarded with an engaged workforce who tell us that this is a great place to work.”
