Affirmative promotes Roger Morris
Specialist short term funder Affirmative Finance has promoted Roger Morris from a BDM to sales and marketing director.

Eugene Esterkin, managing director, of Affirmative, says since Morris joined Affirmative he has done a terrific job with free reign to use all the skills he has learnt over the years in the specialist sector.
Esterkin says: “This appointment shows our mutual long term desire and commitment to building Affirmative and helping us diversify into other areas. We have always been committed to the intermediary market and never stopped lending during these very tough economic times.
“The permanency of Rogers appointment means we can further build on what we have achieved to date with packagers, distributors, networks and the intermediary market as a whole.”
Morris says his aim is to carry on working and developing a multi distributional route for Affirmative and to grow the business based around a broker centric operation.
He says there has been a lot of speculation as to when he will move on and maybe start a company again on his own.
But Morris says he has passion for what he does at Affirmative and it is a fantastic opportunity to build something very special. He says his “long term future lies with this very special company.”

It's great to see Roger succeeding and comes as no surprise. At least the industry does not lose out. Straightforward personality that i'm sure will continue to progress and hopefully have influence on the industry.
