Portillion makes senior appointments
Portillion, the prospective lender formerly known as Checkmate Mortgages, has announced three appointments to its senior team.
Jim Coleman has been appointed treasury director, Will Foster has joined as financial controller, and Helen Bramham has joined as operations manager.
Coleman will sit on the company’s executive committee and has previously held senior treasury roles at Nationwide, NatWest and Abu Dhabi Commercial Bank.
Foster is qualified as a chartered certified accountant and his experience includes roles at Prudential UK and Aegon Insurance.
David Hill, chief financial officer at Portillion, says: “Jim Coleman and Will Foster are seasoned specialists in their respective fields with good financial services experience and will play a major role in our business.”
Bramham will be responsible for third party administrators and will report to to Barry Searle, chief operating officer at Portillion.
Portillion says it is continuing to build its systems and team and says it will launch when the time is right, though doesn’t give any indication on when the launch date is set for.
The appointments follow the news last week that Peter Stimson, former commercial director at Checkmate, had joined Platform as head of product management after leaving Checkmate in March.
