Jason Berry leaves Platform
Jason Berry has left his position as head of sales at Platform to join Midlands based general insurance specialist Safe&Secure Insurance in the new year.
Berry says: “It was a big decision to leave Platform after a 10 year association, but I feel the time is now right to seek a fresh challenge. I have admired the way Safe&Secure have conducted themselves and their attitude towards the Intermediary marketplace has been exemplary. They are backed by one of the biggest insurance companies in this market and have a unique proposition.
“My primary focus will be on launching a brand new suite of quality, competitive home insurance products that will be available in January 2010. ”
Berry first joined Platform in 1999 as divisional manager, he then left to join managing consultancy IMS Overseas SL in 2005, before re-joining the lender in October 2006 as head of sales.
Richard Daibell, regional sales manager, North, Neil Wyatt, regional sales manager south, and Jude Miranda, sales operations manager will now report directly to Lee Gladwell, director of sales and propositions.
