Optima Legal grows professional negligence team

Optima Legal is further expanding its professional negligence team to deal with the increase in work from its lender client base.
The firm has appointed Maggie Batts to the role of associate solicitor within the professional negligence team.
Qualifying in 1998, Maggie has worked at Wragge & Co, Beachcroft and Vodafone’s in-house legal team. Previously she was at the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors where she managed professional conduct and standard issues.
Lesley Wilkinson, head of professional negligence at Optima Legal, says: “Maggie brings extensive experience and a wealth of knowledge that will undoubtedly prove invaluable to the team. We continue to see a marked increase in the level of work received from our lender client base and will recruit further to match this demand.”
