Rival poaches Colleys' surveying boss

Paul Chapman, interim head of surveying and valuation at Colleys, is joining Countrywide in the newlycreated board position of head of field operations within its surveying division.
He will start in December. The new role includes overall responsibility for the operational efficiency of the group’s surveying workforce, as well as assisting with the development of products and services.
Paul Creffield, corporate operations director at Countrywide, says: “Chapman brings a wealth of experience to this role after more than 15 years in the property industry and will be using his expertise to strengthen our frontline business.”
Chapman joined Colleys, Lloyds Banking Group’s surveying arm, in 2009.
Prior to this he worked as head of sales at HBOS.
