Platform has launched a four-year fixed rate deal in a bid to shake up a market dominated by two-year fixes.

Rates start at 3.99% up to 60% LTV and move to 4.19% up to 70% LTV, 4.49% up to 75% LTV and 4.99% up to 80% LTV.

It comes with a £1,995 arrangement fee and a £140 ad-ministration fee.

The deal is available for purchases and remortgages, with free valuations and free legals for remortgages.

Lee Gladwell, business development director at Platform, says: “Two-year fixes are the product of choice at the moment. But this means going through a remortgage in a couple of years, incurring more fees.”

The deal is available through Platform’s broker partners.

The lender has also cut the minimum loan size on its two-year tracker from £200,000 to £150,000. The rate is 2.44%.
