Mortgage Intelligence to use The Key system

Mortgage Intelligence is ditching TrigoldCrystal’s point-of-sale sys-tem and moving to Mortgage Brain’s The Key in January.
As well as using Mortgage Brain’s point-of-sale system, app-ointed representatives of Mortgage Intelligence and Mortgage Next will also use the All New Mort-gage Brain as its preferred mortgage sourcing system.
Both systems will be free of charge for the network’s combined 430 members.
The Key will be available from January 2011, with Mortgage Intelligence offer-ing its ARs full training and support.
Sally Laker, managing director of Mortgage Intelligence Holdings, says: “We have listened to what our members want from a point-of-sale system and feel that we now have the solution to make it easier for them to write business.”
Mark Lofthouse, chief executive officer of Mortgage Brain, says: “Mortgage Intelligence Holdings is a leading intermediary networks and we are delighted it has chosen Mortgage Brain as its preferred mortgage technology solutions provider.
David Aylmer, mar-keting director at Trigold-Crystal, says: “From what I understand it’s not a total switch. Mortgage Intelli-gence’s brokers will be able to use both systems and none is compulsory.
“Obviously they have been using our systems for a number of years and we have a loyal set of custo-mers who will continue to use our system and we will continue to support them, Mortgage intelli-gence and Mortgage Next. This is not happening for some time anyway.”
