IPhone mortgage application is a hit

Up to 100 people an hour downloaded a mortgage comparison application when it launched on iPhone last Monday.
Mortgage Finder has been created by Robert Kelly, senior partner at Robert Kelly Software and founder of online sourcing system Orbiter. The application allows users to trawl through the criteria of all UK lenders.
Kelly says that on its first day the application saw around 100 downloads per hour. Mortgage Finder also gives users the option of being transferred to a mortgage broker in their local area.
Kelly says he is in discussion with a number of advisers about joining up.
He says: “It’s amazing to think that this application can do some-thing as complicated as match mortgage requirements with every product in the market.”
While Mortgage Finder selects deals that match the entered requirements it can also filter results in various ways such as by overall cost, initial payment and APR.
