Four more senior staff exit Tiuta
Mortgage Strategy understands that bridging lender Tiuta’s head of marketing Stuart Brumhill and head of business development Guy Garrard have both today left the firm.
In addition Tiuta’s regional account managers Gordon Rae and Jim Baker are also understood to have quit.
Garrard and Brumhill’s Linkedin statuses have been today updated to provide their personal contact details for people to contact them on.
When contacted by Mortgage Strategy Brumhill refused to comment.
The firm’s former chief executive officer George Patellis announced at the end of February 2011 that he was stepping down. Patellis at the time blamed family reasons and personal circumstances for his return to America.
In a statement commenting on the departures, Steven Nicholas, chief executive officer at Tiuta, says that the firm is continuing with its restructure of its sales and lending operations and that it has a forecasted £50m available to currently lend over the next couple of months.
He adds: “The recent improvements we made have led to unprecedented levels of funding being available to us to invest in high-quality bridging loans over the next couple of months.
“Combined with robust redemption figures being recorded we have an enormous opportunity to continue the growth of Tiuta to ensure it remains the number one bridging company in the UK.”

One can only assume Brumhill and Garrard will be appearing at another lender very soon?
