Doug Crawford to take over as PTFS boss next month

Personal Touch Financial Services has appointed Doug Crawford as chief executive officer.

In his last role Crawford was CEO at Absolute Invoice Finance, part of Aldermore Bank. Prior to this he held senior roles with Aviva GI and in non-financial service businesses.

John Ruddick, previous chief executive of PTFS, became chief operating officer around six months ago and PTFS chairman Martin Wilson retired in January.

Max Wright, interim chief executive at PTFS, says: “We have been involved in an extensive search for the right candidate and Doug has a great track record. He will join us on April 6.”

Meanwhile, Gemma Harle, former managing director of Mortgage Next, was appointed managing director of rival network TenetLime last week.

arle left Mortgage Next last year following the purchase of Mortgage Intelligence by Mortgage Next’s parent company European Financial Solutions.
