David Webster to lead trade body for the next year

DAVID WEBSTER BSA CHAIRMAN FOR A YEAR
David Webster, chief executive of Hanley Economic Building Society, has been elected chairman of the Building Societies Association.
Webster repla-ces Graham Beale, chief executive of Nationwide Building Society, and will hold the position for the next year.
Meanwhile Peter Griffiths, chief executive of Principality Building Society, has taken over from Web-ster as BSA deputy chairman.
Webster says: “I feel privileged to be in this role and will promote the values of the mutual sector.”
