Commercial boss quits role at First Complete

John Ahmed has left his job as commercial director at First Complete, the network formerly known as Home of Choice.

Ahmed joined the network in 2005 but says he has decided to leave to pursue alternative business interests and opportunities.

Ahmed says: “I enjoyed my time at Home of Choice, working with all sorts of inspiring people.

“It’s been a difficult decision to move on as I’m leaving at the beginning of an exciting new chapter in the life of the network, but I would like to wish the team and all its advisers the best of luck for a rewarding future.”

LSL Property Services bought Home of Choice for £1.5m in May.

Jon Round, group financial services director at LSL, has thanked Ahmed for his contribution in helping develop Home of Choice and says the company wishes him every success as he moves on.

LSL now owns the UK’s largest residential surveying operation and second largest estate agency network, having recently acquired the Halifax estate agency operation.

In 2009, LSL reported pre tax profits of £28.3m.

Mortgage Strategy recently revealed that more than 90% of Home of Choice appointed representatives transferred across to trade under the First Complete banner, with around 500 of the original 540 signing contracts with the new organisation.
