Brian Brodie leads Virgin operations

Former HML chief executive Brian Brodie has joined Virgin Money as operations director.

He joined Virgin in January and reports to chief operating officer Mark Parker. Brodie left HML in November along with Neil Warman, its chief commercial and finance officer. HML announced last week that Andrew Jones will replace Brodie as chief executive. He has been interim chief executive since Brodie left HML.

A spokesman for Virgin says: “Brodie has extensive experience and will help the business deliver its operational capability.
“I am sure he will prove to be an invaluable addition to the Virgin Money team.”

Prior to HML, Brodie held a number of roles at the Royal Bank of Scotland, including director of mortgage operations and director of retail service operations.
