Amaira gets on board at Manor Mortgages

Cammy Amaira, a former director of sales at Intelligent Finance, has joined Manor Mortgages as national sales director.

Manor says it is in discussions with both new mortgage lenders and those considering re-entering the market, and is confident that Amaira’s expertise will be pivotal in selecting the most appropriate business partners for its planned expansion.

Dave Stephenson, managing director of Manor, says Amaira’s appointment marks a big step forward in the recovery of the packaging side of the business as it starts to see volumes increase and lender activity build.

He says: “Amaira is a respected and influential professional in the mortgage community, and a prominent supporter of the packaging sector. It is fantastic to have him on this side of the fence.

“Adding to a wealth of experience within the company, I’m sure this appointment will inspire lenders with the confidence to use the services we provide.” Amaira says joining the Manor team will provide him with a fresh outlet for his enthusiasm, passion and commitment, while allowing him to renew relationships with some people he has enjoyed working with in the past.

He says: “I am impressed with how Manor has adapted to market conditions and developed a range of products and services.”

Amaira recently worked as a corporate account manager at Countrywide, having previously been director of sales at Intelligent Finance and head of sales at Mortgage Express.
