HSBC offered the best deals in Q3
HSBC was the most consistently competitive lender in Q3 2009 with only NatWest and the Royal Bank of Scotland coming close, analysis from Evaluate Technologies shows.
The technology firm ranked deals across all product categories and each time a lender appeared in the top 10 in the three months to September 30 they were awarded a point, with the lender gaining most points being deemed as offering the most consistent value.
HSBC scored 23, significantly ahead of RBS on 18 and NatWest on 17 in the quarterly analysis.
These were followed by Britannia Building Society, Mansfield Building Society, First Direct, Abbey, Woolwich, the Post Office and The Co-operative Bank.
