Council of Mortgage Lenders gross mortgage lending data due out We’ve seen static lending this year, and as the months go by the CML’s prediction of £150bn in gross lending in 2010 looks ever more like wishful thinking. So, with pundits and PRs blaming the World Cup and Wimbledon for lacklustre interest in house buying it will be interesting to see what the latest figures look like.

Santander publishes its Q2 2010 results Abbey for Intermediaries has continued to aggressively lend in the UK mortgage sector, and the industry will be interested to see whether it increased its market share in Q2.
