London & Country has launched the 1 Minute Life Insurance check.
L&C says it has launched the 1 Minute Life Insurance check to allow users to see if they are paying too much for their life insurance.
Richard Morea, technical manager at L&C, says: “Many policyholders won’t realise that not only has the cost of life insurance fallen, but some monthly premiums can be double the cheapest, so using this simple tool will be time well spent.”

is this yet another 'bash the advisor tool' or will it offer advice along with its checks and offer to place the policy in trust?

L&C are jumoing on the protection bandwagon as mortgage business dries up.
However, rebroking insurance policies, especially Critical Illness is very risky due to changes in definitions for new contracts and crietria.
L&C are taking some big risks here by going on price alone - and they now effectively position themselves with price comparison sites.
Discussing trusts etc is also required.
Good Luck to them, but of they tried to poach on of my clients, they will have me to deal with.
