Gateway boosts inhouse surveying team

National surveying firm Gateway has expanded the number of its inhouse surveyors in response to increased demand.
Gateway acquired a 50% controlling interest in Sonas Surveyors in March, and the company says it is continuing to develop its in-house team to satisfy the increased demand for its services as a surveying practice and as a panel manager.
Marcus Radcliffe, managing director of Gateway, says: “It had always been Gateway’s long-term strategy to employ its own surveyor workforce to compliment our highly regarded panel firms.
“Our panel management team was strengthened in May with the recruitment of Mel Kettle from Countrywide and we have capitalised on the current market conditions to recruit some exceptional chartered surveyors.
He adds: “The feedback we have had from lenders and brokers has been extremely encouraging.”
