Fraud probes mean that solicitors' halo is losing its shine
I remember when solicitors used to be seen as pillars of society so I was interested to read on Mortgage Strategy Online recently that 106 investigations into solicitors were carried out last year as part of a crackdown on mortgage fraud.
Hmm, and solicitors often claim they are the only professionals in the financial services retail world consumers can trust.
