Post Office’s cover deal is cheeky and insulting to brokers

The news that the Post Office has launched business insurance tailored for mortgage brokers is extraordinary.

Does it live in some kind of parallel universe? The Post Office is one of the main reasons there are nowhere near 40,000 brokers around today, as it claims.

In fact, the Financial Services Authority should step in and stop it from trading for failing to provide an advised route to potentially vulnerable consumers.

What a cheek to consider marketing this deal - talk about rubbing salt into the wound.
