The Council of Mortgage Lenders reveals its latest quarterly figures on arrears and repossessions. It will be interesting to see whether recent negative economic data has had an impact.

The Monetary Policy Committee votes on the base rate and the size of the quantitative easing programme. It is widely expected to vote for more QE this month.

CML lending data for January released
The CML publishes its gross lending data for January. Hopefully December’s year-on-year rise of 12% will be sustained.

MPC minutes published
The Bank of England reveals how the nine members of the MPC voted earlier in the month.
