Bridgewater launches sales aid for advisers

Bridgewater Equity Release is launching a sales aid for advisers outlining the reasons why one of its home reversion plans may be a suitable form of equity release for a client.

The Reasons Why tool is designed to help advisers in their sales and advice process by highlighting attitudes and beliefs that home reversion clients often have, such as a conservative view on future house price inflation.

Peter Welch, head of sales and distribution at Bridgewater Equity Release, says the sales aid outlines the various reasons why a potential equity release client may be better suited to a home reversion plan than a lifetime mortgage or another option, and continues Bridgewater’s commitment to providing regular information on a variety of issues raised by clients.

He adds: “The sales aid reminds advisers that there is much more to equity release than simple questions about the amount the client wants to release and it should help in shaping their understanding of the reversion plan products available today.”
