Mark Blackwell appointed MD of Xit2
Mark Blackwell has been appointed the managing director of Xit2.

Blackwell takes the reins at Xit2 as Peter Stibrany leaves to become head of parent company MDA’s new European Information Systems operation.
Blackwell was appointed as Xit2’s sales director in September 2008 having previously worked as intermediary sales director at Alliance & Leicester and head of corporate accounts and specialist lending at Cheltenham & Gloucester.
He has also worked as marketing director at The Derbyshire and group mortgage manager at Portman Building Society. Prior to this he spent ten years at Skipton Building Society.
Blackwell says: “I’m looking forward to managing the business through these difficult times. As sales director, I’ve built our client relationships and extended Xit2’s reach into the wider lending market.
“Now, my focus will be on the development of new products and relationships while continuing to work closely with our existing clients. Xit2 is at the leading edge of product innovation in a market that is facing unprecedented challenges - we have a big part to play in helping our clients through this period.”
Stuart Pearce, UK managing director of MDA, Xit2’s parent says this is a great move for Blakcwell and for Xit2 as a whole.
