Lloyds tells top staff to reapply for their jobs
Lloyds Banking Group has asked its three mortgage heads of sales and head of national accounts to reapply for their jobs as part of its streamlining of the business.

Ian Wilson, head of sales at Halifax, Phil Rickards, head of sales at Birmingham Midshires, and Kevin Purvey, head of sales at Cheltenham &Gloucester and Scottish Widows Bank, have all been asked to apply for their roles again. Head of national accounts Maria Harris must also reapply for her position.
The lender announced in March that it was scrapping its Cheltenham & Gloucester brand through brokers.
As a result it will now only operate a Birmingham Midshires and Halifax sales team and Halifax will also look after the Scottish Widows brand.
A spokeswoman for Lloyds group says the consultation process will continue into May, with new roles starting to be confirmed in the next couple of weeks. All the new positions will be in place from June 1.
