Hudson steps down as Tenet CEO
Simon Hudson has decided to step down as chief executive of the Tenet Group.
Hudson founded Tenet in 1992 and says he is very proud of what the company has achieved over the years.
He says: “However, Tenet wouldn’t be where it is now without the support of all the dedicated staff who have provided our clients with high-class support services.
“Today, more than ever, we have a very strong management team and this makes it the perfect time to leave them to take Tenet forward.
“The implementation of the Retail Distribution Review will open up new opportunities for the company but it would have required me to commit to a further five years as chief executive. In these circumstances I think it is time for a change. I fully intend to stay involved in our industry as the opportunities for success have never been greater.”
Lord Hodgson, chairman of Tenet Group, says: “Simon is one of the people who have helped transform the IFA industry from a series of sole practitioners to a properly regulated profession. His enthusiasm and commitment has driven Tenet forward.
“He has helped the company successfully meet the challenges of the last few volatile years during which he has built up an excellent management team. We shall miss his future contributions but understand the reason for his decision. A search for his successor is already underway.”
