Home of Choice announces roadshow dates
Home of Choice has announced a series of roadshow dates for its advisers, which are designed to inform them about the network’s new owners, believed to be LSL Property Services.

Money Group’s managing director Tony Murtagh has confirmed to Mortgage Strategy that he has made a bid for Home of Choice but says he will withdraw it if LSL Property Services confirms it will not place the firm into administration.
Gerry O’Brien, CEO of Home of Choice has written to advisers, saying: “Further to previous communications I am writing to confirm the details of the series of events Home of Choice is arranging for you, as firm principals (and any Advisers you wish to attend) this week around the UK.
“These will be hosted by a Home of Choice board director, your regional sales director and a senior director representing the investors.
“These will cover authorisation, delayed payments, pipeline business and information about the new owners.”
He adds: “Can I also remind you that Home of Choice is not in administration and normal service is currently being resumed.”
He says its providers are aware of the current situation and are giving it their full support.
He adds: “On behalf of the Home of Choice Board I would like to confirm that we are delighted with the progress made to date on taking the business forward, and we look forward to sharing more details with you over the coming days.”

Gerry/Richard. Thrilled for you guys. If LSL are your acquirer then they have invested in a great management team and the company you have all worked so hard to build will go from strength to strength. This is good news for the market.

tmurtagh if you are indeed said bidder and let's just say I believe you about the management team.
1.Why do you want to get involved with them if this is your opinion?
2.Are you offering a home for AR's?
3.If so how do we contact you?

From the roadshow this morning, if you sign the new contracts which are being e mailed today and have them returned by Friday we are being told we will get paid the commission owed! They say they have been bought by LSL but cant confirm what is happening! Whats new!

The interesting point I would like clarifying by the HoC board is why would they rejected the proposal of Mr Murtagh? Maybe they were fearful of losing their positions within HoC as Mr Murtagh would not suffer the sort of individuals that parade themselves as competent businessmen whilst at the same time only ensuring their personal needs are met when the brokers that have lined their pockets for so long are left to suffer? As far as I am aware the new 'deal' with LSL does not confirm that they will not place HoC into administration either so all HoC AR's beware that the outcome may still be the same!
