Connect Services Group to enter into administration
Connect Services Group has ceased trading and is to be placed into administration.
A message on the firm’s switchboard says it has ceased trading and has appointed Portland Business and Financial Solutions as administrators.
Its website says that over the last four years it has grown into one of the UK’s largest mortgage distributors with its members arranging over £4bn in lending during 2006.
The firm was financially backed by Venture Capital firms MMC Ventures.

am reliably informed that Connect Mortgage Group (trading name of Connect Mortgage Network Ltd) has ceased trading but has no need to go into administration as they have left no debts. It is only Connect Services Group Ltd that will be entering into administration. Apparantly all creditors will be repaid due to an income of around £1 million that is due to Connect Services Group Ltd over the next 6 months. Either way it is a sad loss to the intermediary mortgage market.

Connect 'owned' Knightsbridge Claims Management, dealing with Unenforceable Credit Agreements. They have taken fees of up to £499 each which they may now lose.

I have a £1200 refund due from Connect Services Group Ltd and can't seem to get hold of anyone to help. Does anyone know any contact details to send a claim to? Thanks

You'll be lucky to get anything back out of them, their website ww.connectservices.co.uk explains this as well. Best bet is to approach the credit card company for a refund of the fee (assuming the fee was paid that way). I have lodged 2 claims and am waiting to hear if they have been successful or not. If you paid by cheque or current account I doubt if you'll see your money again....

I am also owed upfront fees paid for unenforceable credit agreements through sister company Knightsbridge. How can I get this company to pay me back what it owes. I contact them earlier this year and was told to call back end of March and was not told of any plans to go into administration.
