Clydesdale Bank products to be available to Legal & General network appointed representatives via the Legal & General mortgage club.
Martyn Smith, head of mortgage products at Legal & General mortgage club, says: “I am delighted to welcome Clydesdale Bank to the mortgage club.

So, have they joined the Mortgage Club where DAs exist or are they only dealing with L&G Appointed Representatives? I am confused!

Clear as mud, that last line must be put in out of context. Someone at L&G just wanted to hear there name again.
Hope they are opening up to intermediaries, every little helps with product choice at the moment. Wonder how bad the dual pricing issues are going to be too. I worry they will test the water with some face slapping hypocrisy while supporting intermediaries if other retail banks are anything to go by.

Graham and Steven - apologies if message seems confusing, this isn't the full press release that was issued. Clydesdale Bank are launching to just L&G Appointed Representatives through Mortgage Club at this stage.

Hi Martyn - we have amended the headline and intro to make it clearer that the Clydesdale products are available only to L&G ARs via the mortgage club.
