Abbey extends homebuyer plus range to Scotland and NI

Abbey for Intermediaries is extending its Homebuyer Plus mortgage range to include purchases in Scotland and Northern Ireland.

Due to the popular uptake of the product in England and Wales and broker feedback asking for a similar scheme in Scotland and Northern Ireland, Abbey has arranged with its solicitor panel to offer the product range throughout the country.

The broker exclusive range, launched in September, offers free legal costs and valuation.

The range includes a 3.19%, two-year tracker at 75% LTV,  3.99% two-year fixed-rate at 70% LTV and a 5.79%, three year fixed-rate at 85% LTV.

Ricky Okey, managing director of Abbey for Intermediaries, says: “We were always keen to introduce a product range that would be available across the UK, but in the first instance we kept it to a limited proposition. Having had further discussions with our solicitor panel we are pleased to announce an extension to the whole of the intermediary market and we are keen to ensure that we continue to make it a competitively priced range”.
