Crunch munch

Desperate times call for desperate measures so Mole can understand why some people may turn to unusual methods of cutting costs. But one Aussie’s attempts to turn to a life of petty crime to beat the crunch didn’t exactly go to plan.

The bloke thought shoplifting would be an efficient way of cutting his weekly grocery bill so while browsing at his local supermarket in Cairns he decided to stuff a fistful of sausages down his shorts rather than pay for them.

Unfortunately for the chancer he was spotted by the store manager and forced to remove the products from his pants.

The management subsequently issued a statement to reassure customers the sausages were not put back on the shelves while the sausage-loving thief was arrested and attempted to explain himself. Mole thinks he was probably telling porkies.
