More job losses at TrigoldCrystal

TrigoldCrystal has put 20 staff into consultation following a decision to close down its office in Leeds.

The company plans to relocate remaining staff currently based in its Leeds office to its office in Bromsgrove, home of Crystal Software Solutions prior to its merger with Trigold in April.

There will also be additional job losses from TrigoldCrystal’s office in London, with affected staff from both London and Leeds notified of the decision on September 28.

David Aylmer, business development and marketing director at TrigoldCrystal, says: “We did state that following the merger of Trigold and Crystal Software Solutions we would be reviewing the business as a whole.

“We are following that strategic review and we are now implementing some of the changes.

“Unfortunately this has led to us placing some of the staff in consultation.

“We are working very hard to minimise the number of staff affected.”

The decision comes four months after the first wave of job losses at TrigoldCrystal at the end of May, when 16 staff were put into consultation.
