DIGGING THE DIRT IN THE MORTGAGE WORLD…
Congratulations to features editor Christine Toner and Abbey for Intermediaries’ PR guru David Stewart on the success of their Remembrance Sunday fundraiser. The event featured a host of bands from across London and was held in east London last November.
Together with donations from PR firm Citygate and broadband provider Talk Talk the pair managed to raise £300 that will now be matched by AfI, meaning a whopping £600 will be given to the Poppy Appeal.
“The Poppy Appeal is an important and worthwhile cause, supporting the Royal British Legion’s charity work,” Toner told Mole.
“In 2009 the emphasis was on the need to help the soldiers who served in Afghanistan and their families. I’d like to thank everyone who attended our show and donated, and of course all the bands who played. It was a great day.”
