Chapelgate Associates teams up with Parkheath estate agents

Independent estate agent Parkheath has teamed up with brokerage Chapelgate Associates to provide high-net worth clients with mortgage advice.

Chapelgate Associates specialises in large loan mortgages and is based in Belsize Park, north London.

Tom Gladwin, managing director of Parkheath, says: “In order that our clients can enjoy preferential treatment, we have formed a close alliance with Chapelgate Associates, who will have a specialist team who deal only with Parkheath.

“We have received positive feedback from those who have dealt with them and feel that their professional, client orientated approach will be of significant benefit to our clients.”

Colin Payne, sales manager of Chapelgate Associates, says: “We are extremely pleased to join forces with Parkheath, a trusted and established brand in Belsize Park and Hampstead.

“Given the lack of competition in the large loans market, we have forged some excellent relationships with private banks over the last year and continue to do so allowing us to provide clients with the most suitable product for their circumstances.”

The link-up between estate agents and brokers is expected to become more important in future as the market stabilises.

Recently Douglas & Gordon, the London-based estate agency chain, agreed a deal with London brokerage Coreco for the firmto provide mortgage advice to the estate agent’s prospective buyers.

  • With the re-mortgage market remaining subdued until maybe 2012, the purchase market is next years battlegound. What better way into that market than Estate Agents?
