Burridge hopes for an eventual return to sector

Jonathan Burridge says he hopes to stay in the mortgage market and is weighing up his options following the closure of Quantum Money.

The brokerage stopped operating in December.

Former managing director Bur-ridge does not anticipate making a quick return to the market but says he will be back.

Burridge says: “I’m not sure what I will do now. The closure of Quan-tum was unexpected. I have been talking to various firms and am looking at my options.”

Quantum was forced to close because it could not secure sufficient funding.

Burridge says: “We hung in there but in the end our pockets were not deep enough.”
