Brokers back TCF website
Over 300 users of Tcfinfo.co.uk took part in a user survey during July and August.
Almost 75% of respondents were regular visitors with some 70% finding the site a useful resource for help with complying with TCF.
A further 98% found the site easy or quite easy to navigate.
Frank Eve, chairman of the TCF Lender Forum which developed the website, says, “Far from marking the end of TCF initiative the December deadline marks the beginning of making TCF business as usual for all mortgage brokers.
“Never has it been more important for firms to understand and continue to implement TCF in their ongoing business practices. Those who fail to measure up will risk enforcement action from the Financial Services Authority.”
He adds: “For this reason we expect the free support provided by our website to continue to play a vital role in helping smaller firms maintain their TCF strategies.”
