Ex-Money Partners duo joins Omni Capital

Former Money Partners bosses Bob Sturges and Jim Nash have joined Omni Capital.

Sturges, former director of communications at Money Partners, has been appointed head of communications, while Nash, former national sales manager at Money Partners, has been appointed sales manager.

Sturges has 30 years’ experience in financial services and previously held senior corporate communications positions with Money Partners and GE Money Home Lending.

While Nash has enjoyed a long and varied career spanning 25 years in the finance sector.

Before joining Omni, he ran his own brokerage and held senior sales posts at igroup and Money Partners.

Dena Thompson has also been appointed underwriting manager with responsibility for ongoing case management and appraisal.

Thompson joins Omni from bridging lender Tiuta where she performed a similar role.

In a separate move, Ed McAra, previously underwriting manager, is promoted to the new position of head of underwriting.

Colin Sanders, the former chief executive officer of Money Partners and chief executive officer at Omni, says: “For lenders to succeed in the current environment, they need to reach the right decisions regarding their funding, products, processes and partners. But having the right people in place remains a fundamental requirement.

“By investing in its team through these appointments, Omni is demonstrating its clear intent to build a lending proposition for long-term success. I expect to be in a position to announce further senior appointments in due course.”
